日本男團Hey! Say! JUMP 成員中島裕翔的新戲《#Manhole》衝出國際，上月獲邀在柏林影展「特別單元」（Berlinale Special）放映，香港亦將會上映，值得期待！戲名嚴格來說不應讀作「Manhole」，而是「hashtag Manhole」，名字已透露劇情與social media相關，藉此顯露人性黑暗面。
中島裕翔飾演地產公司top sales，是社長女兒的未婚夫。婚禮前一晚，同事還在澀谷為他辦驚喜派對，飲飽食醉後，他深宵回家途中卻墮入地底黑洞——一個廢置沙井（manhole）。因為腿受重傷，洞內有梯他也爬不得，而手上只有GPS壞了的智能手機，以及同事送作結婚禮物的打火機⋯⋯
全片基本上是看中島裕翔如何在叫天不應的澀谷地洞中自救，當致電朋友和報警不遂，他決定在social media開設「manhole girl」帳戶，假裝女生向網民求救。點解要扮女生？網上所言有幾真？救援行動如何被不同網民帶風向？不只social media見盡人性醜惡，中島裕翔困在洞中亦危機四伏，會忽然有海量泡沫湧進來。
導演熊切和嘉形容《#Manhole》不是恐怖片，而是帶有黑色幽默的諷刺驚悚片。人生的確可以好諷刺，人性黑暗也可以好驚悚。熊切和嘉執導的前作《養慾之恩》拍父女不倫戀，有淒美有道德觀思考，今次《#Manhole》既有典型一人被困細小空間的求生片緊張氣氛，也有人性和social media的反思。熊切和嘉和中島裕翔出席柏林影展時，與傳媒分享了不少拍片細節，中島更是首次參加柏林影展，出發前曾表示希望以英文跟觀眾交流，到埗後即於記者會大秀標準英語，令大家眼前一亮，#日本見 更有幸於柏林為他們作專訪，兩人大談對香港及香港電影的鍾愛，稍後即將刊出，記得密切留意！

Shunsuke Kawamura (Yuto Nakajima) is a top-performing salesman at a real estate company, enjoying a seemingly perfect life with his upcoming marriage to the company president’s daughter. However, after becoming drunk at a party on the night before his wedding, he falls into a manhole on his way home. Injured and unable to escape on his own, he finds himself trapped with only a malfunctioning GPS smartphone and a lighter given to him by a colleague as a wedding gift…
■ Nakajima addresses the Press Conference in Fluent English
Yuto Nakajima and director Kazuyoshi Kumakiri appeared at a press conference during the Berlinale, where they responded to questions from the media.
When asked about the screenplay, written by Michitaka Okada, director Kazuyoshi Kumakiri commented, “After reading the plot, which was carefully developed over the course of a year, I initially felt it was somewhat different from the films I had made before, and I was a little unsure at first. However, as I read it again and again, I came to feel that although the story is set in a confined space, it has a remarkable sense of scale, and I strongly wanted to turn it into a film.”
When asked about shooting in the tight and dark set of the manhole, Yuto Nakajima responded in fluent English, saying, “Shooting for a whole month in a tight and dark set was very intense. Originally, I wanted a role like this. It was challenging for me. The shooting was very tricky because I was surrounded by dirty bubbles, something I had never experienced before. It was really tough mentally and physically.”
When asked about his impressions of visiting Berlin, Yuto Nakajima said, “It feels like a dream. I never imagined I’d be able to come to a place like this in my lifetime, so I’m really grateful to have been brought here by this film.”
Director Kazuyoshi Kumakiri, who visited the Berlinale for the first time 20 years ago, shared, “This is a place with many memories for me, as I was invited to the Panorama section with my graduation film. I’m truly happy to be invited again. I’ve just arrived, so I want to take the time to really savor the experience.”
When asked about his use of social media, a key tool in the film, Yuto Nakajima responded in fluent English, saying, “I am a member of the Japanese boy band Hey! Say! JUMP, and we have official accounts on Instagram and YouTube. Sometimes social media is really helpful in getting direct feedback from the audience. I try to use (the social media) to get to know their comments.”

■ Nakajima and Kumakiri Walk the Red Carpet in Tuxedos
After the press conference, Yuto Nakajima and director Kazuyoshi Kumakiri made their way to the red carpet at the main venue, Berlinale Palast. Nakajima, smiling, expressed his excitement, saying, “I’m so thrilled. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, so I want to enjoy this moment and share the unique aspects of this film with the world.”
Yuto Nakajima and director Kazuyoshi Kumakiri also appeared at the sold-out official screening. After the film, the venue was filled with loud applause and cheers. Both Nakajima and Kumakiri participated in the Q&A session, answering questions from the audience. During this, Nakajima smiled and commented, “It is kind of tough to promote this movie without spoilers.”

中島裕翔（Hey! Say! JUMP）の主演映画『#マンホール』が、ベルリン国際映画祭の「ベルリナーレ・スペシャル部門」に正式招待され、主演の中島裕翔さんと熊切和嘉監督が映画祭に参加した。
【あらすじ】
不動産会社でトップ営業成績を誇る川村俊介（中島裕翔）は、 社長令嬢との結婚も決まり順風満帆な人生を歩んでいた。だが結婚式前夜のパーティーで酩酊し、帰宅途中にマンホールに落下。足に怪我を負い、自力での脱出不可能に。手元にはGPSが誤作動したスマートフォンと、同僚からの結婚祝いとして贈られたライターのみ…
■流暢な英語で記者会見に臨む
ベルリン国際映画祭の記者会見にて、中島さんと熊切監督が登壇し、マスコミの質問に答えた。
脚本（ 脚本家・岡田道尚）について尋ねられた熊切監督が「一年かけて練られたプロットを読ませてもらって、今まで僕が撮ってきた映画とちょっと感じが違ったので、最初は戸惑いもあったが、何度も読み返すうちに、狭い空間で描かれているけど、非常に広がりがある話だと思って、ぜひ映画化したいと思いました」とコメント。
マンホールという狭くて暗いセットでの撮影について聞かれた中島さんは流暢な英語で、「 一ヶ月間の撮影は非常に過酷でチャレンジングでした。汚れた泡に囲まれた撮影は初めてで、精神的にも肉体的にも大変でした」（”Shooting for whole month in a tight and dark set was very intense. また、ベルリンを訪れた感想については、中島さんは「夢のようです。こういうところに来れると生涯も思ってなかったので、この作品に連れて来ていただいたという気持ちですね。」と述べた。
20年ぶりにベルリン国際映画祭に訪れた熊切監督は「大学の卒業制作でパノラマ部門に招待された非常に思い出があった場所なので、またこうして招待していただけて本当に嬉しいです。まだ着いたばかりなので、これから噛み締めたいと思います。」と語った。
本作品で重要なツールとして登場するSNSについて、普段SNSの使い方について聞かれた中島さんは「 僕は日本の男性グループHey! Say! JUMPのメンバーで、InstagramとYouTubeの公式アカウントを運用しています。時にはSNSを通じて観客の声を直接知ることができるので、とても役立っています」（”I am a member of a Japanese boy band Hey! Say! JUMP and we have two accounts, instagram and youtube. Sometimes social media is really helpful in getting to know what the audience thinks. と、流暢な英語で答えた。

■タキシード姿でレッドカーペットに登場
記者会見を終えた中島さんと熊切監督は、ベルリン国際映画祭のメイン会場ベルリナーレパレスのレッドカーペットに登場した。中島さんは「ワクワクしてしょうがないです。人生に１度あるかないかこういう素敵な機会なので、せっかくの機会を楽しんで、この映画の良さを世界に届けたい」と笑顔で意気込みを語った。
満席となった公式上映会場には、中島さんと熊切監督も登場。上映後、会場は大きな拍手と歓声に包まれた。両名はQ&Aセッションに参加し、観客からの質問に答えた。その中で中島さんは「ネタバレなしでこの映画を宣伝するのは難しかった」（“It is kind of tough to promote this movie without spoiler.”)と笑顔でコメントした。
